The main purpose of  Finnish Schools is to support bilingualism within Finnish-British families and the first Finnish School was founded in London over 30 years ago. Currently there are at least 18 Finnish Schools all over the UK.

Edinburgh Finnish School has two groups: up to 5 year olds and over 5 years olds. The school is held twice a month on Sundays at the German Church, 1 Chalmers Crescent, Edinburgh EH9 1TW between 3 pm and 5 pm. There is also a small Finnish Kioski. For more information, please contact: Tiina or Heli.

Glasgow Finnish school activity groups include PLAYGROUP (for children up to 2 years old), KINDERS (3 to 5 years old children) and JUNIORS (children over 5 years old), but also Finnish people without children are welcome to use the school facilities (including "Finnish shop") and to meet other Finns. The meeting time is from 13.00 to 15.00 pm during the selected Saturdays in the Pollockshaws Methodist Church, 74 Shawholm Crescent, Glasgow G43 1NY. Please visit www.glasgowfinnishschool.org.uk for more information or contact Sanna.
